Anna Theisen-Olson has been a member of the Autism Recovery Foundation board of directors since March 2017.
About Anna Theisen-Olson
In addition to being a mother of a son with autism, she is also a health care consultant and has worked in public sector health care policy and finance for almost 20 years.
Theisen-Olson has led numerous Medicaid and other human services engagements during her career, including managed care and fee-for-service rate development, policy and strategy consulting, waiver development, stakeholder engagement, communications, and fiscal and operational analyses.
In addition to working in consulting, Anna was also a Senior Analyst for the Health Care team at the United States Government Accountability Office.
She holds a Master of Health Science Degree in Health Policy from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Macalester College (St. Paul, MN).
