At our 2016 Autism Heroes reception, the Autism Recovery Foundation honored the front-line staff who go to work each day to make better the lives of children with autism in Minnesota.
These front line staff conduct therapy.
They teach new skills.
But most importantly these autism heroes work in partnership with families through the toughest of times. To honor front line staff, the Autism Recovery Foundation created a short video to share how vital their work is:
Sharing Our “Autism Heroes” Stories
If you have a personal story about one of the many autism heroes among us, we’d love to hear it. Share it on our Facebook page. Or email us at contact@autismrecoveryfoundation.org. It is important that we all recognize the value of these staff and care providers.
How You Can Help
Finally, there is a significant shortage of qualified autism professionals in Minnesota. While we work to recover more children from autism, we need your support to fund more programs to train staff.
