Autism Recovery Foundation welcomes Tamara Meyer as Incoming Chairperson
We are pleased to announce that at our January 10th, 2018 meeting, the Autism Recovery Foundation board of directors elected Tamara Meyer as its new Chair. Tammy succeeds Randall Bachman who has served as Chair since March 2008. Mr. Bachman is retiring in January 2018 after years of extensive service in the Minnesota disability community. The board thanks Mr. Bachman for his outstanding leadership and the valuable contributions to our organization over the past decade.
Get to Know Tammy
Tammy Meyer has been an ARF board member for three years, leading the planning committee for the annual “Autism Heroes” event and participating in donor development efforts. She is looking forward to focusing her efforts on growing and developing the ARF board of directors and continuing to expand ARF’s programming. Tammy has been a longtime parent advocate, with extensive volunteer and non-profit experience. She and her family reside in Minneapolis.
Additional officer appointments on the 2018 ARF board of directors include: Kim Schulze, Vice-Chair; John M. Mulligan, Treasurer; Lisa Barsness, Secretary. The board also welcomed new member Jay O’Neill at the January 2018 meeting.
